An alumnus of India's two apex armed forces officers training institutes,National Defense Academy & Indian Military Academy, Akhilesh was commissioned in the Indian Army's elite regiment, "The Brigade of the Guards". A trained paratrooper, Akhilesh has been exposed to several conflict situations of varied intensities including conventional warfare, high altitude operations, counterinsurgency,terrorism and internal security assignments. He has been at the cutting edge of engagements with enemy troops in the daunting Siachen glacier and secessionist insurgents in India's volatile northeastern region. Akhilesh is
an operationally hardened expert in counter terrorism and internal security in the Indian context.

After release from the Indian Army, Akhilesh was deeply involved in the corporate security function of large corporates. He led the regional security functions of India's premier civil aviation company and in that capacity organised & enforced anti hijacking measures and contributed to risk profiling, crisis management and security audit initiatives.

Later, he was initiated into the risk mitigation industry as the practice head for a special task group of the then Asia's leading Risk Management Company in India, based out of New Delhi. In the discharge of this function, Akhilesh successfully undertook and was responsible for comprehensive brand protection operations and risk management assignments for MNC market leaders in India and Nepal and also concluded some immensely complex covert investigations.

Akhilesh leverages his keen understanding of market malpractices and security dynamics while leading TACT India. Several MNC and domestic market leaders have benefited from his strategic consulting on business risks that firms usually encounters in developing markets like India.

Akhilesh is a "Certified Fraud Examiner" and till recently had been a member of INTA's (International Trademark Association) Anti Counterfeiting and Enforcement Subcommittee for South Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Anil Chowdhry is one of the senior most Police Officers of India with 38 years of outstanding record in the Indian Police Service. During his service Mr. Chowdhry had the experience of managing and advising on Security and Intelligence aspects spread across the globe.

Mr. Chowdhry has had a long tenure of 22 years with the Intelligence Bureau wherein he held appointments from the level of an SP to Director General of Police. As Special Director, Intelligence Bureau (MHA), New Delhi, he oversaw IB's counter terrorism efforts in J&K, Counter Intelligence,VIP Security and Industrial Security. He also formulated the
strategy to counter threats to vital installations and VIPs nationally. He also headed IB's VIP security wing for almost 7years and served in the front line of terrorism and insurgency affected areas like J& K and the North East for almost 10years.

He was also selected for the most coveted posting by an IPS officer in the Embassy of India, Washington D.C at the high level of a Minister, usually the preserve of the Indian Foreign Service wherein his duties included keeping the vast and influential Indian American community focuses on
strengthening of India US relations and interaction with the highest levels of US government including the Congress, the Senate, State Dept and the White House.

He has held the prestigious past of Group Manager - India for a reputed company in the Synthetic Fiber Industry looking after labour,personnel and statutory compliances.

He has also been a consultant to a premier organization in the Stationery Industry; auditing their compliances, advising them on trademarks,copy right, patent and registrations.

He spearheaded the firm's IPR protection initiatives,wherein he utilized all the avenues of the government enforcement machinery and which has over the years networked him well with the enforcement and senior police personnel across the country. Major General Iqbal Singh - AVSM, VSM

Major General Iqbal Singh, AVSM, VSM, a highl decorated General Officer from the Indian Defence Establishment having extensively well rounded off professional experience while possessing critical expertise in core disciplines is part of TACT India's Leadership Team as Director and Practice Head: Security, Risk, Business Continuity Planning &Management.

With more than four decades of experience behind him including but not limited to being a Commander, Senior Command Wing, Army War College, General Officer Commanding an Infantry Division, Commandant Regimental Centre, General Iqbal Singh is a Masters in Science and Masters in Management Studies. He was decorated with ATI VISHISHT SEVA MEDAL for outstanding work in Counter Insurgency & Anti-Terrorism & a VISHISHT SEVA MEDAL for special work in the state of Jammu and Kashmir including Siachen GlacierArea.

Post retirement he has also been a professor, Head: MBA Department in a deemed university located in the state of Punjab.

General Iqbal was leader of an Indian Army delegation to Myanmar centred on improvement in diplomatic ties and coordination of Counter Insurgency / Counter Terrorism /Anti-Drug Trade activities. He was also the Leader of the Indian delegation in the Pacific Armies Seminar.

An alumnus of National Defence Academy and The Indian Military Academy, General Iqbal was commissioned in the"Brigade of the Guards" and finally hung his boots in the Army in 2003. He currently is a critical part of the core team at TACT spearheading various operational initiatives for his core disciplines on Pan India and South Asia basis.

Major (Retd) PC Joshi, a Science Graduate from JNU, Delhi and has20 years management (line and staff) and 10 years training and e-learning experience. He is on alumnus of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy. He did his Post Graduation in Air Defence Electronics / Technology and obtained a Masters Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune, with specialisation in Human Resource. He has been on associate Faculty Member of Berhampur University, Orissa. He has been a PG Instructor at prestigious Army Colleges. He pioneered Computer Aided Training Systems and developed numerous CBT packages and linear videos for training, on turnkey basis from concept lo implementation.

As Director of of Web Application Development Company,he has designed and deployed applications such as CRM, KM, modules of ERM, simulated stock market games etc. He has also been the Chief Content and Technology Officer of a premier e-Learning company in India and assisted
many NGOs for technology requirements.

As Senior Vice President Information Technology and Practice Head Internet Investigations at TACT India, he brings his rich experience from related fields of e-transformation, e-learning and e-commerce. His forte lies in architecting and implementing innovative solutions for emerging technology challenges. At TACT he has successfully implemented internet monitoring, investigations and security procedures leading to containment of infringements and prevention of illegal use of IPR on a global basis. Indu Palaniappan

A dynamic business strategy consultant, Ms.lndu Palaniappan has been handling senior management responsibilities for 31 years. She has helped develop,influence and inspire professional business intelligence service for international organizations such as the British High Commission in India, United Kingdom Trade &Investment, UK Department of Agriculture, US State Universities and a leading US Legal firm and other small and medium firms.

As the Head of Trade & Investment team at the British High Commission, she was directing & strategizing activities of the all India commercial services team for gathering,validating & reporting commercial intelligence in sectors of business important to the UK Industry along with market
analysis, due diligence & advisory to UK & US firms in business partner search. She has extensively coordinated with banks & other government entities in India involved in Trade & Investment operations.

She has also authored industry & economic briefing notes on Indian industry - both existing and emerging during1991 - 2004, in specific sectors to assist visiting British Ministers, heads of UK trade organizations and business corporations.
